Rupiah Banda is the Novice former President – Guy Scott

Former Republican Vice President and founder of PF Dr Guy Scott says it is regrettable that a former head of state has proved to be the most novice former president ever.

Commenting on Rupiah Banda’s remarks that Hakainde Hichilema is the one causing tension in the country by not accepting results, Mr. Scott says Mr. Hichilema used the right channel.

Dr. Scott says Rupiah Banda was suppose to understand the route cause of Mr. Hichilema not accepting Edgar Lungu as President.

“One can only wonder if Mr. Banda was truly head of state with his reasoning. Maybe age is catching up with him. You can not force someone to recognise you as President” Dr Scott said.

“It is a known fact that the General Elections had a lot of flaws. Hichilema used the normal channel of petitioning the election. The issue is about hearing the petition. That is where this conflict is coming from” he said. “How do you expect hichema to just accept the results? He does not want to be part of people who are not honest ” Dr. Scott said.

And Dr. Scott says Rupiah Banda has proved not only to Zambia but international countries that he is a divider.

He says he is shocked that the former head of state is supporting lawlessness’ in the country.

Dr. Scott has advised the former head of state to reflect and support the right thing for all Zambians not individuals.
